As a busy vegan dad, I love making simple, yet delicious plant-based meals for my family that are not only healthy but also quick and easy to prepare. Today, I want to share with you one of my go-to recipes that never fails to impress: a no-oil, vegan pesto sauce.
Pesto sauce is traditionally made with olive oil, but I’ve found that omitting the oil doesn’t compromise the taste or texture of the sauce at all. Plus, it makes this recipe much healthier, as we all know that too much oil is not good for us.
This vegan pesto sauce is perfect for a variety of dishes. You can use it as a pasta sauce, as a topping for pizza, or as a dip for veggies. It’s also a great way to add some extra flavor to sandwiches and wraps.
The best thing about this recipe is that it’s completely customizable. You can add more garlic if you want a stronger flavor, or you can add more water to make it thinner. I hope you give this no-oil, vegan pesto sauce a try! It’s a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional pesto sauce that your whole family will love.
