The Vegan Coleslaw Recipe You’ve Been Looking For
Everyone knows that the sauce makes the vegan coleslaw, but many times we think that mayo has to be the main ingredient. Think again! In this Asian slaw recipe, we use peanut butter as one of the main ingredients. Second, when you combine it with agave or maple syrup, some soy sauce or coconut aminos*, and a hint of lime…your friends will be begging you for more. This recipe is fun for kids to try, but it mostly intended for plant-based parents looking for a little something different.
We really love pairing this salad with sushi night at our house. Our family really enjoys the peanut sauce. The sauce can be made with either liquid aminos or soy sauce.
