Vegan Blogger Influences Change At Baseball Concession Stand
Plant Protein Hot Dogs Served For Father’s Day
WINTER GARDEN, FL (June 16, 2015) – Central Florida Blogger Cory Warren will add a special element to this Friday night’s collegiate summer baseball game, when vegan hot dogs will be added to the menu in the venue’s concession stand. On Friday, June 19, the Winter Garden “Squeeze” Baseball Game will transform into “Father’s Day Friday Night.” With Warren’s Real IronDAD blog as one of the presenting sponsors, a non-meat option for the nostalgic American hot dog will be welcomed by the team.
“Smart Dogs,” the brand to be served at the game, will offer a rarely seen vegetarian option at an All- American pastime, which will sing to those who do not eat animal protein.
“When my family goes out, it is always nice to have an option that speaks to our dietary preference. We look forward to an awesome experience,” says Warren, whose wife and three kids are also vegan.
“The Squeeze are excited to partner with Real IronDAD for our Father’s Day Friday Night! In an effort to create a welcoming environment for families, we have expanded our concession offerings this season to include fresh fruit, non-GMO iced tea and IronDAD-inspired Smart Dogs on Whole Wheat buns,” says General Manager, Adam Bates.
Hot dogs are just a small part of the special evening, which will celebrate Father’s Day two days early during the game. The evening’s festivities include the National Anthem sung by professional actress and Walt Disney World performer, Jennifer Warren, a pre-game “toss with dad” where dads can throw a baseball on the field with their kids, and a special ticket price for the evening. A four-pack of tickets can be purchased for just $25 and will come with a hot dog and a drink in celebration of dads; a special offering for this event! Father’s should arrive by 6:15 PM to throw a few balls on the field with their kids. Game will start at 7:00 PM on Friday, June 19 and will be played at Heller Bros. Ballpark at West Orange High School located at 1625 Beulah Rd., Winter Garden, FL 34787. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1HP9ntw.
